What We Use Today
Recala relies on essential cookies or equivalent storage for authentication and session continuity. These are necessary for account access, onboarding continuity, and secure use of the portal. Separately, we use one analytics provider that loads only if you accept it.
Essential Cookies
- Authentication cookies managed through Supabase to maintain logged-in sessions.
- Security-related state needed to protect accounts and prevent unauthorized access.
- Operational storage required to complete authenticated onboarding and publishing actions.
Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use PostHog to see which pages people click on this site and where they get stuck, so we know what to fix. This covers recala.co only — we have no visibility into your browsing anywhere else. Nothing loads until you choose "Sure, measure it" on the cookie banner. If you decline, the PostHog script is never downloaded and no analytics cookie is ever written.
| Provider | Purpose | Data location | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics: pageviews, feature usage, signup funnel | European Union (eu.i.posthog.com) | Up to 12 months |
We identify logged-in users by their internal account ID only — never by email or name. We do not use advertising networks, we do not sell or share analytics data with third parties, and session recording is disabled.
What Is Not Active
We do not load advertising scripts, marketing tags, cross-site trackers, or heatmaps. Search Console and Bing Webmaster tooling operate on the site-owner side and do not set front-end cookies for visitors by themselves.
Changing Your Mind
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Use the button below to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time — declining also clears the identifiers PostHog previously stored.
Managing Cookies
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential session cookies may prevent you from signing in or using protected areas of the service.
