GUIDES
Run your blog on autopilot
Choose the rhythm, keep the topics and decide who signs each article.
On this page
Use an owner’s sign-in to change cadence or automatic approval. Autopilot must be enabled for your account; a configured cadence alone does not switch it on.
Choose your publication rhythm
This example uses Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 09:45 in Madrid. Change the days, time and timezone to suit your company. Preview the settings first.
recala cadence set --days mon, wed, fri --time 09:45 --tz Europe/Madrid --autopilot --dry-run When the preview is right, save it with autopilot enabled. This permits topic assignment and generation, which uses your article plan.
recala cadence set --days mon, wed, fri --time 09:45 --tz Europe/Madrid --autopilot Keep the topics you want written
Review Up next before enabling generation. Keep the questions that help your buyers.
recala topics list --section up_next recala topics approve <topic-id> Preview the two-week plan to see which topics and states occupy your slots.
recala plan --weeks 2 Choose how drafts get approved
With automatic approval off, a person reviews each draft. Turning it on lets eligible passing drafts be accepted in the configured signing person’s name. Holds and review requirements still apply.
recala autoapprove show Use an active author id from your organization and an owner session. This command saves the setting without an interactive confirmation prompt.
recala authors list recala autoapprove on --author <author-id> Return to manual approval
recala autoapprove off What happens at 09:45
09:45 is the publication time in this example, in the configured timezone. Recala prepares articles ahead of their slots. Eligible, approved articles can publish when their scheduled slot is due.
A missing author, hold, failed check or unavailable article can prevent publication. The plan shows the state of each slot; setting a time does not promise an article will be ready.
recala plan --weeks 2 Next, review an article to understand the checks before it is signed.
